Winter Wonderland at The Goods Shed is BACK!
“ Where performative installation mixes with affordable Original Artworks”
The Winter Wonderland will be a great chance to escape the madness of Cabots Circus and find your true Christmas self. Get captured on camera in our magically created Christmas world, join us around the piano and buy some unique art presents for your loved ones.
We invite you to become immersed in ‘The Goods Shed Winter Wonderland’ where immersive performative installation mixes with affordable art. Part installation, part performance space and part market stuffed full of original work from local artists, designers and artisans.
Winter Wonderland is going to transform the Goods Shed into a Christmas festival of art and performance. Visitors will have lots of opportunities to get into the christmas spirit, get dressed up and be magically captured on camera. Visitors will also have a chance to contribute to a unique large scale shared piece of art with Galina Gardiner, or if you just want to relax and put your feet up, soothe any christmas stress away with a massage from Jackson therapies.
There will be carol singing around the piano with lots of local talented musicans, and Jonny Fluffy Punk and Hamish Guerrini will be bending our eager ears with their funny and poignant poetic Christmas thoughts.
Alongside the interactive art and performances there will be a market stuffed full of original work from local artists, designers, artisans and writers including May Hoffman, Katey Jane Smith, GraphyX Design Forum, Fiaz Elson, Alexandra Darbyshire, Susan Kester, Adam White, Kaoru Blackstone, Bill Jones and Clare Honeyfield with Made in Stroud.
Plus Boss Morris beast making workshops for kids with Alex Merry and Steve Rowley.
The final closing event will take place on Sunday 18th Dec 3-6pm hosted by Jet Set Radio.
