Kicking off the evening, mysterious Cheltenham Producer iO Pan presents his debut album When The Lid Opens
Emily and Joe have both caught glimpses of that which lurks beneath. As each has struggled to make sense of what they have seen, they have been dragged inexorably into a frightening new reality; a shadow world of lurid horrors, where nothing is as it ought to be. Yet they have witnessed great beauty too, a joy stark and profound, and an addiction is growing...
A kaleidoscopic trip of strange stories and old skool beats. This will appeal to fans of early 90s breakbeat and jungle, as well as those who love classic folk horror such as The Wicker Man, and dreamy 70s children’s TV such as Bagpuss.
This performance will be followed by Jackson Almond. Jackson is a Stroud based producer, composer and sound designer whose work moves between UK club music, experimental electronics and contemporary composition. He was at the core of the London Broken Beat scene pre-covid and then stepped away from releasing anything for several years and now returns with Tremors in Copper, his first full-length album and the beginning of a new live practice spanning electronic performance and bespoke electroacoustic instruments.
Performance in the round.
