'Terror Management' proudly presents the Stroud debut of 'Crosspiece'. The duo of 'Caius Williams' 'Theodora Laid' ('feeo') who demonstrate sheer virtuosity through double bass and vocal improvisations, exploring the furthest ranges of their instruments whilst presenting meticulously crafted compositions that ebb and flow in collage like form. Their 2024 self titled expertly displays this, filtered through the lens of studio manipulations on standout tracks such as ‘Eleventh’. Caius and Theodora’s projects span multiple collaborations with artists such as 'Tara Cunningham', 'Charles Bullen’ (of ‘This Heat’) 'Steve Noble' and 'Mark Sanders' as well as a joint curation of the 'Grain Residency' series and Theodora’s solo work under 'feeo'. We’re incredibly lucky to host this duo for what will be a stand-alone and prominent performance.
Also joining the bill will be London’s ‘No Home’ whose work exists beyond genre’s grasp. Blending wall of noise guitar and twisted drum loops, No Home’s work has earned the accolades of many prominent publications, including 'Pitchfork' and 'The Guardian' as well as artists, leading to collaborations with the likes of 'Moor Mother', 'Still House Plants' and 'Rainy Miller'. 2025’s EP ‘Princess Suite’ standing as one of our favourite releases of last year.
Opening up the evening will be the debut performance of ‘Family Romance LLC’. This newfound duo of 'enys mottet' and 'Oscar Woolley' presenting a set that stretches across sound collage, visual cut scenes, heavy drone, and improvisation.
