Luminous Foundation is a musical collaboration between two veterans of ambient experimental electronica Téléplasmiste's Mark Pilkington and Urthona’s Neil Mortimer. Their work, which the duo describe as Acid Ambient, has been likened to Conrad Schintzler and Klaus Shultze of Tangerine Dream and Kluster fame. Expect pulsing trance rhythms and shimmering, ethereal textures that will transport you to the outer realms of the acoustic cosmos.
Mark Pilkington will also be giving a talk on Radionics And Witchcraft before the performance (5pm) : presenting a historical overview of psychotronic devices - the radiant collision point of witchcraft, art and technology.
