2pm Mermaid Chunky

Mermaid Chunky’s current performances are made up of tailor made, art film projections accompanied by sound scapes of drum machines, synthesisers, saxophone, recorder, wind up toys, robotic cats and floating lyrical phrases.

3pm Dan Berkson Trio

The Dan Berkson Trio perform modern jazz with a strong sense of both history and innovation. Drawing equally from the great piano trios of Keith Jarrett and Bill Evans and the sounds of psychedelic, Fender Rhodes-based music, they bring their own musical identity communicated through Berkson’s compositions.

4pm Matthew Read Trio

Formed in 2015, the Matthew Read Trio brings together three like-minded approaches for music making, creating an exciting new performance every time they play. Drawing influence from the bands of Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Paul Motian and many more, MRT brings a fresh edge to the world of the guitar trio.

5pm China Bowls

Singer songwriter China Bowls delivers a smooth honey pot of sounds, combining neo soul, jazz and hip hop influences.

7pm Snazzback

Snazzback blend jazz, afrobeat, hip-hop and electronica into a cosmic melting pot. Fiery improvisation lies at the heart of the band’s ethos and their high energy live shows have helped build their reputation as one of the most exciting acts to come out of Bristol’s burgeoning music scene.

8pm Emma-Jean Thackray

Repped by Gilles Peterson, RBMA, Sounds of The Universe and many more, rising mega-talent Emma-Jean Thackray wears many musical hats.

8pm Jouis

Jouis [jhew-eee] : derived from Jouissance {French noun jouis·sance \zhwē-säⁿs\} - high enjoyment, pleasure, orgasm, super-metric groove, melody, harmony.

8pm Ishmael Ensemble

Expansive-cerebral-jazz-psychedelia from Bristol., bridging fleet-footed jazz, lush downtempo, modulated electronica, Fourth World tones, and all manner of stirring sonic swells.

11.30pm Footshooter Presents: Vels Trio + Maxwell Owin

With a keen desire in improvisation, Vels Trio’s sound can be characterised by their heavy grooves, emotionally charged songwriting, coupled alongside expressive, progressive modern musicianship to create an excitingly frenetic, and irresistibly engaging live sound structures.
