Mould collective at WOMAD

Neston Park, Wiltshire
23-26 july

Mould will be decorating and curating a tent at WOMAD festival, celebrating the creative talent of Stroud’s young people. The collective will bring a fun colourful energy within the venue  as well as displaying some previous favourite projects, as seen at events around Stroud. Expect stripes, pizzaz and a large disco ball!

Mould is a contemporary arts youth collective celebrating the next generation of creative talent which involves art workshops exploring the power of community through installations, films and so much more. Mould is based at SVA and seeks to create a community of inclusivity and creativity within the youth of Stroud and is an important resource in getting young people involved in the arts community, doing creative things and meeting new people. Previously mould has gotten involved in processions around stroud, film nights or immersive art installations at SVA gallery. Mould is excited to share this aim and create a wider community through its installation at the ‘launch-pod’ tent at WOMAD festival.

“Mould has been such a fun opportunity for me to meet loads of new people who share my love for all things creative” said Esther, Mould member at SVA.

“I’m excited to share mould’s work and energy with even more people and I think WOMAD is the perfect place for that to happen!” said Vesna, Mould member at SVA
