This new exhibition will be a collection of both different shaped paper, card, cardboard, and fabrics all treated with a multi-textured mark making in screen-printing, pastel and drawing in , a real investigation of the work that Simon Packard does in large sketch books, often unseen. The overarching narrative is figurative with posture, fabrics and shape uppermost in the designs. This exhibition, in many ways, says more about how Simon teaches drawing at college through the mixture of wet and dry, wax and ink and steering away from white paper.
