BAG A TINGS

  • SVA 4 John Street Stroud, England, GL5 2HA United Kingdom (map)

Stroud's Bashiest Clubnight

Friday 31st July, 8pm–1am

Strictly 18+

Less screw face. More bass face.

When summer hits Stroud, you know what time it is.

After years of road-blocking venues, packing out dancefloors and building a reputation as one of the town's most notorious underground parties, BAG A TINGS finally lands back at the SVA for a full tropical bass takeover.

Brought to you by local party heavyweights Ragga Shed and The Bass Bin, and hosted by Bristol underground veteran MC Bo, this is the club night where reggae, rave and sound system culture collides with modern UK bass music, Latin club energy and global underground dance sounds.

Expect a heavyweight journey through:

Bashment

Dancehall

UK Garage

UK Funky

Afrobeats

Baile Funk

Reggaeton

Kuduro

Batida

Grime

140

Tropical Bass

Latin Club Sounds

Bassline Rollers

From Kingston to Rio. From Luanda to London. From São Paulo to Bristol.

BAG A TINGS celebrates the sounds currently reshaping dancefloors across the UK underground.

Built on the foundations of Caribbean sound system culture, today's tropical club sounds fuse the percussive energy of Dancehall, Soca, Afrobeats, Baile Funk, Reggaeton and Kuduro with the heavyweight low-end pressure of UK bass music. The result is a new generation of club music designed for one thing: movement.

Deep rolling sub-bass. Dembow rhythms. Afro-diasporic percussion. UK Garage swing. Dancehall bounce. Tropical pressure.

This is music engineered for the dancefloor.

And like all proper sound system culture, bass comes first.

Expect the music to be delivered through a powerful soundsystem built to maximise the physical impact of every kick drum, bassline and syncopated rhythm. This isn't background music. It's a full-body experience.

HOSTED BY

MC BO (BRISTOL BO)

A veteran of the Bristol underground rave scene, MC Bo has spent more than a decade commanding dancefloors across the South West. Best known for his roots in Drum & Bass and Jungle culture, he has become a familiar voice throughout Bristol's nightlife circuit and a respected resident with Kronic Bass.

Known for his infectious energy, razor-sharp mic work and ability to lift a crowd at exactly the right moment, Bo has hosted countless heavyweight bass music events, bringing the kind of authentic soundsystem presence that turns a good dance into an unforgettable one.

Expect live mic pressure, crowd interaction and pure rave energy throughout the night.
