Artshape - Art bridge and Artlift artists

Art Shape are a long established Gloucestershire based arts organisation, working over the county to develop and deliver creative programmes for people facing barriers since 1993.

We are founder members of the Gloucestershire Creative Health Consortium. We are excited to host an opportunity to explore the topic of arts and health as part of We are Community. Our session is facilitated by Sophie Wardle, Harriet West and Xanthe Wood.

Sophie Wardle is based at Nau Studios in Cheltenham. She is a visual artist with an MA in Fine Arts. Currently working on Admission, a year long exploration of her experience of life changing chronic illness, Sophie is an active member of ArtShape’s ArtBridge Emergents cohort of artists.

Harriet West is project manager at Art Shape, she also works as an artist on the Artlift programme. Xanthe Wood is project manager leading on arts and health at Art Shape.
