An interactive evening to celebrate the book launch of the WORD with a presentation of all the words and the original letters with conversations with Andrew Wood, Charles Landry and others.
The WORD project by the artist Andrew Wood is unusual. It has been extremely popular and has, at times, attracted controversy and debate. It is a combination of deadpan humour, irony and visual with laced with cheek and fun.
Starting in 2017, a new word has appeared every 2 to 3 weeks. This book brings together all 40 words to date, all captured by the brilliant photographs of Guy de Lotz and the stories behind them. The Words have become an every day feature of life in Stroud.
Copies of the book will be on sale, with the opportunity to get them signed by Andrew.
£4 from SVA, £5 on the door.
