Witness a surreal social commentary, as duo Dangervitch and Neptune challenge the boundaries of normality and encourage open-mindedness via time-based media. The pair often utilise reverse psychology both visually and conceptually within their work in attempt to promote a more imaginative way of thinking. Find their work during this year’s Site Festival, where their SVA Studio will be open to the public for two weekends. This exhibition and film is part of a series, which is offering space and time to young artists to make and show new work in the gallery.

Renowned performance artist Richard Layzell returns to Stroud this May. He will be found exploring, investigating and probing the boundaries of the extensive common land that surrounds the town. What secrets are there hidden in the commons? Finding out can be a mucky business.

Ella Clifton-Gould and Darcie Kemp are two female artists originally from Stroud, both currently studying art and fashion in London and Manchester. Ella and Darcie will be presenting an unseen, new and exciting series of performances, 'Night Time Raiders' at SVA gallery space. A long overdue collaboration, after admiring each other's work from afar, producing a series of performances combining Clifton-Gould's love for snails and Kemp's love for flowers. These works will be exploring performance, sound, visuals, story telling, costume, props and play.

Kes Wilkie graduated from Falmouth School of Art in 2019, where he began making kinetic sculptures involving various objects such as parachutes, conveyor belts and household fans to build upon ideas and scenarios found in existing cinema and poetry.

Millie Steele graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2017 and has since been working as a 3D Artist Technician. Her sculptures and installations are concerned with the notion of time and coincidence. She manipulates everyday objects to radically shift their meaning, often highlighting human issues and fears for the future.

Daisy Timpson is a second year Fashion Photography student, studying at London College of Fashion. Focusing mainly on portrait photography although she also enjoys collaging and manipulating her photographs with mixed media. Working mostly with 35mm film on a point and shoot camera, taking it everywhere with her to document the people and places she encounters.
